The alligator guy walked around with a cooler filled with different kinds of meat... or whole chickens. He would put the cooler on the ground and hit it. The alligators have learned that this means it is time to eat. If there was a hungry alligator in the area, they'd swim over to see what he had to offer.
He was trying to get this guy to come up on shore but, the gator never did. The guy said they have him trained and know he'll give them the food without them having to go through all the work of getting out of the water. 
Did you know alligators can go for a year without eating? You'd think alligators would be swimming all over the place coming to eat but he had a hard time getting any to come. He said he had one sure gator who always ate...
Fat Albert. Sure enough, as soon as we got to the back of the swamp and the guy sat his cooler down here came Fat Albert. 
He ate this dead, but whole, chicken. We could hear the bones crunch. Fat Albert eats lots of chickens.
