Alligators are really soft. They don't feel scaly, they feel like nice leather. The alligator guy said he did a tour with some people from China. He couldn't understand one word they said the entire time until a woman at the end held the alligator and said, "Make nice bag."
At first Grant didn't want to hold the alligator. In the end, he finally did. All the other kids were so gentle and nice. Grant was the only one who started to squeeze his back.
Max took my picture holding the little guy. After he took it he said, "I got your face." I asked him if he got the alligator. He said, "Oh." He took another picture and said, "Ok, I got the alligator."
