For those who would like a frame of reference for the size of the spider here are the pictures I took through the plastic tub. I mustered up the courage to lift the lid a little and stick the camera in to get one without the plastic. Nate asked me what I would have done had the spider jumped at me. I would have screamed and run like a crazy person. That's what I would have done.
