We spent the night in Hot Springs after our long day of digging. After all the kids were cleaned up we went and ate dinner downstairs in the hotel. It was a nice restaurant but Jack and Grant were way too excited to sit still. There weren't any highchairs, which Jack thought was amazing. He could climb over everyone and run out of the restaurant at will. He especially liked the fountain in the middle of the hotel. He even tried to climb over the rail to get in it. It's no wonder Gloria, Debbie and I tried to enjoy a nice glass of wine at dinner. I chugged the remainder of mine down as I ran out after Jack.
We made a stop in North Little Rock on the way home and spent the night with the
Loibners. We have perfect stairsteps of boys from 2 to 6. It is a guaranteed crazy time when we get together. Campbell came out soon after we got there and said, "Mama, there's a nice baby in my room. Get him out." Man, those are funny kids.
