I just want all you fellow American Idol fans to know that Melinda Doolittle, the most amazing singer of season 6 is a good friend of mine from college. Great things come out of the University of Tulsa! She is exactly how she seems... awesome and humble. She used to help lead worship at Bell Howse (our stu-mo meeting). She is so much fun... I love that girl!

One of my friends from high school lives in Nashville now and she is good friends with Melinda. Small world! Makes it more fun to watch when you feel like you have a connection.
