Cold Appliance
Not to worry... our refrigerator is cold once again. Roger, the extremely tall and nice repair guy from Geidt Enterprises (highly recommend in case you ever need an appliance fixed) came over last week at 8:00 pm! He and his wife own the company and he was trying to get caught up on work. He said he still had another appt. after us. Apparently, the door was loose and not sealing adequately. He asked if anyone ever swung on the door. Who, my boys? Then he realized that our door had been put on incorrectly when we had to switch them when we moved in to our house (almost 2 years ago! no offense to our dear friends who did the switching :)
Irony
Isn't it ironic that Nate has this great new job that he is excited about but he needs a computer to do it.... and our computer stops working right before he gets it? We've been praying for a job for Nate for almost a year. Who knew we needed to be praying for our computer to keep working?! I just don't get it. Our poor little laptop is currently being diagnosed at NWA Techs. Let's all pray it's sick enough with the right illness that we can claim it on insurance and only have to pay our $100 deductible!
Leaky Walls
Still no word from the insurance company about our water damage. There is still pretty plastic covering the bare wall and trash bags lining the hole from the bathtub area. It could be the next new design craze.
Baby
As of last Friday I still had not dialated one little bit. The doctor told me to walk. My response was, "It's not like I'm ever sitting!" I also told him he was bad luck and I wasn't going to come back to by checked by him again. I think he really likes pregnant people like me.
Nate found out he gets 4 days off... party paid from FedEx. Whoohoo! That is actually more than we thought. I, at least, didn't think he'd get any paid days off. When Max was born he was working for AFLAC so basically he got off as long as he wanted. When Grant was born he was working for Wal-Mart and got 3 weeks (paid) off. Life is going to be fun in a couple weeks. Think we can afford live in help? Mom?
Speech Therapy
Today is my last day at Huntsville. I am trying to contain my excitement. Other than the fact this has been our primary income for the last year I am so ready not to come back here!
My official last day of work with Children's Therapy TEAM (at least for a couple months) is the 22nd. I may go into shock being home all the time again.... my kids may be in shock, too!
Middle Name
We still haven't decided on a middle name for little Jack. I'm sure there are many of you with suggestions!
1) Jack Hudson
2) Jack Henry
3) Jack Oliver (Oliver is my grandmother's maiden name)
4) Jack Thomas (Max's personal favorite... not really in the running)
Let me know if anyone else has other ideas... this poor little 3rd child. His name is all about compromises!
