I received the phone call yesterday from Rej, my FedEx boss, to inform me I was getting a courier position. I was told I will get an offer letter either today or tomorrow. Once I accept the job I will have about 40 hours of computer training, defensive driving school (because of my DUI), and then courier school. I think all of this will take 2-4 weeks, but I don't know. I was told this will be a pick-up route which starts around 3:30-8:00. We will have insurance again and I won't have to work at the temp agency anymore, unless I want to. Thanks for all of your prayers, donations, and love.
My brain fart of the day: The SEC schools are having a challenge to see which school can get their alumni to sign up for a G.O.L.D. card. If you love those piggies, which you all do, sign up for your gold card so we can win in something other than track.
