Little Bunny Fu-Fu's?

Nate made a discover while mowing this week... a nest of baby bunnies. We've decided the mother bunny isn't the best decision maker: the nest is out in the open and she should have done a little more research on the neighborhood. Perhaps then she would have learned of the rodent hunter residing the same yard as her precious newborns. When we first made the discovery of the bunnies we thought they might be orphans. Just last week Leo's catch was a nice sized bunny. Nate and I both feared the mother had met her demise. But, fortunately nursing baby bunnies to adulthood is not on our to do list. The mother bunny was spotted tonight caring for her little ones.

Hopefully the little guys will stay hidden long enough to gain some speed so they can flee our yard as soon as possible. Until then, we'll do our best to keep Leo the lion contained.
